At 4 Paws Training Spa, we are committed to providing the highest quality training programme for aspiring dog groomers. Our curriculum is designed to cover every aspect of the grooming process, from bathing and drying to trimming and styling. Our instructors are highly experienced and passionate about what they do, ensuring that every student receives the highest quality training. With our hands-on approach, you will learn practical skills that are essential for working as a groomer. We are dedicated to helping our students succeed and providing them with the tools to achieve their goals.

We are only offering a very limited number of students the opportunity to learn and qualify with 4 Paws Training Spa. We only take on 1 – 2 students per tutor so that we can work closely with each student, helping them to develop into confident, happy groomers.
The iPet Network
All our courses are iPet Network based. We chose iPET Network over other awarding bodies because they are renowned for their commitment to maintaining high standards within the industry, and their certifications offer a hallmark of excellence in the field of dog grooming and salon management.
All iPet courses are OFQUAL regulated and are largely based on practical work with some theory, unlike some other courses which are theory heavy and light on the practical side. Some courses also cover business management, helping students to set up their own businesses if they wish to.
There is no requirement to sit a formal exam in order to achieve iPet Network qualifications.
Our Training Salon
Our salon is brand new and designed with the students learning in mind. Dogs are not caged, but kept in individual, relaxing areas. It is air conditioned throughout and equipped with electric tables and even has a bathing area which includes a jacuzzi spa bath for dogs (although it smells and looks good enough to get into!).
The Salon is on Cranleigh High Street, there is parking around the village, plus Pizza Express, Costa Coffee, Sainsbury's all just a few metres away. For those students who are traveling and require overnight accommodation, there are a number of B&B’s and also a fabulous pub with rooms just across the road from us.
About 4 Paws
4 Paws is a family-run business established 12 years ago. We employ a fabulous team of qualified, experienced groomers. We decided to open the Training Spa because often it’s difficult to find the right people to join our growing team. Local colleges offer a variety of different courses but often the students come away with very little practical experience. Training to be a qualified groomer takes commitment, time and money and experience.
We decided to look at how we can change this. We want students to feel totally confident in grooming all types of breeds to a high standard. We choose not to have 10 or 12 students at a time. We believe you can't learn in such a large group. We take a maximum of 4 students (usually 2) per tutor. We understand exactly what is required to make a great groomer and understand each student has individual needs.
